 HIGHLIGHTS

  •  A new game called PUBG Mobile 2 can be launched next week
  • Based on the year 2051, this game will have modern weapons and a new map
  • PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020

PUBG New state is reportedly to be released next week. A tipster has claimed that the new game will be equipped with modern weapons, new maps and many cool gadgets. PUBG Mobile was banned in India by the Government of India in September 2020. PUBG New State is reportedly being developed by South Korean company Krafton. Let us remind that the company had withdrawn all the responsibilities after the PUBG Mobile's Indian operation publisher Tencent Games was banned. No official statement has been issued by the developers so far regarding PUBG Mobile 2, so it would be better to consider this information as just a leak.

A person running the handle on Twitter with the name PlayerIGN (not affiliated with IGN) has claimed that PUBG Mobile 2 may be released next week. The tipster, citing a now-deleted Weibo post, also shared that the game will be based on the year 2051 and come with modern futuristic weapons, gadgets and a new map. It has also been said that this game will  release on both Android and iOS platforms. It is also expected that Krafton may announce it in the PUBG Global Invitational S 2021 tournament, which will take place next week.

The same tipster shared a report from a Korean publication in January that claimed PUBG 2 (PC and Console) and PUBG Mobile 2 were being developed

PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020 along with 117 other apps and later removed from Google Play and App Store. The Chinese company Tencent was responsible for the publication of the game and due to this, the game was banned by the government citing privacy and security concerns. Since then, Krafton, a subsidiary of PUBG Corporation, has been trying to bring the game back to India. In November last year, the company announced PUBG Mobile India and teased that the game would knock soon, but it has not yet been released.
